As time flies let's enjoy this moment

As Yutaka and Kailie grow, I have just realised that they have become more independent. Today, Yutaka had to rest at home because he had fever yesterday. I brought him along to visit Kailie at school. Since Yutaka's school and Kailie's are different, he was very excited to see his sister's school for the very first time. It was drizzling. Raining season has come in Singapore.
We arrived at Kailie's school and took some picture. Kailie was excited as well and showing off his big brother to her friends. :)
We took off from school and walked along Upper East Coast Road, heading to our favourite Japanese restaurant, Waraku. It has good lunch set menu, and it gives kids toy to occupy their time while waiting for the food to be served. Yutaka and Kailie like the thick Japanese noodle soup there, the hot udon. Though for today, Kailie only ate a little bit of noodle and asked for eel rice bowl instead. (the lunch set comprises one noodle and one rice bowl)

I just realised time has flies and both my kids are more independent now. I am so thankful that I can see them grow day by day and enjoying their laughs and being with me. This time, this moment, can not be repeated.

Kailie's First Luge Ride at Sentosa Island

Kailie is 32 months old now. She is 90 cm tall, and she can enjoy her 1st luge ride together with mommy! Both Yuta and Kailie have to be accompanied by mommy or daddy when they want to ride the luge. Perhaps one more year for Yuta until he can ride the luge by himself! :)

Kailie enters her first kindergarten

Kailie turned 2 1/2 years old last June, and she entered Seeds Learning Centre for her first kindergarten here in Singapore. She was a little bit afraid at the beginning, sobbed a little when she realised mommy was not there to accompany her. But she likes her school now and cant wait to go there for every Tuesdays and Thursdays of the week. :)

Kailie turned 2 years old

Time flies so fast. Now my little girl is not baby anymore. She walks faster, runs, and even eats by herself once a while when we bring her out to eat.

Kailie turned 2 years old on December 26, 2009. We celebrated her birthday at home when yeye came to Singapore on December 27, then we threw a little party for Kailie at Sunday school on January 10, 2010.

Christmas 2009, at Home :)

This Christmas we spent quietly at home. Yuta got HFMD right at the first day of his school holiday. It was started with fever, 38 C, then ulcers coming out inside his mouth. He was crying because of the pain, but we tried hard to make sure he took enough flluid so he would not get dehydrated. Yuta took plain porridge all the time and eventually on the 5th day, he recovered. Then, Kailie got the same illness. We were thankful because we knew what to do. We were afraid that Kailie would not eat or drink anything but with the same treatment, Kailie had plain porridges and some milk. She also recovered after 4-5 days.
