Kailie turned 2 years old

Time flies so fast. Now my little girl is not baby anymore. She walks faster, runs, and even eats by herself once a while when we bring her out to eat.

Kailie turned 2 years old on December 26, 2009. We celebrated her birthday at home when yeye came to Singapore on December 27, then we threw a little party for Kailie at Sunday school on January 10, 2010.

Christmas 2009, at Home :)

This Christmas we spent quietly at home. Yuta got HFMD right at the first day of his school holiday. It was started with fever, 38 C, then ulcers coming out inside his mouth. He was crying because of the pain, but we tried hard to make sure he took enough flluid so he would not get dehydrated. Yuta took plain porridge all the time and eventually on the 5th day, he recovered. Then, Kailie got the same illness. We were thankful because we knew what to do. We were afraid that Kailie would not eat or drink anything but with the same treatment, Kailie had plain porridges and some milk. She also recovered after 4-5 days.

We took some pictures at Opa's creamation in Bekasi.

Remembering Opa

Never did we expect that Opa would leave us so soon. He even did not have the chance to celebrate his 62 birthday and Kailie's 2nd birthday on December 2009. Opa left us forever on October 27, 2009. He was a loving and hardworking father for his children; caring, patient, and humorous grandfather to all his greandchilren. A friendly person to his neighbours.
We love Opa and we will treasure the beautiful memories we had together with him.

When Kailie eats noodle

What is the favorite food for children? For my kids the answer is noodle. Both Kailie and Yutaka love noodle. We brought Kailie out for Ramen dinner at East Coast Park, and she enjoyed the ramen so much. She finished her bowl of ramen. :)
